This reprint reports on annual turnover rate in a population of Damara dikdik in Namibia. Features of their social and spacing behaviour, with comparison to East Africa populations, are described. A dikdik population was censused from a vehicle during 13 consecutive days in October and November 1976 at Blubokkie Drive. Two years later a second census at the same site was made
