Marina is a PhD student from the Institute for Communities and Wildlife in Africa (iCWild) at University of Cape Town (SA) and focuses her research on conservation conflicts in Namibian communal conservancies. The overall goal of her research is to better understand conservation conflicts in Namibian communal conservancies. This is a short piece about her experience in the field when she joined the North-West game counts in Marienfluss and Orupembe.
