Summary: In the barren South of Namibia, Maltahöhe district, one finds at Duwisib a German Castle in the semi desert environment. This castle was errected by Hansheinrich and Jayta von Wolf during 1908/1909. In this African Dream they were only able to spent five years. The area is known for its karakul studs. During the 1970's the Castle was purchased by the Ministry of Environment and Tourism. The well researched history of the von Wolf Family and their Castle is a highly interesting biography of this tourist attraction in the South of Namibia
