Summary: The Windhoek Observer received two full reporter's notebooks of transcripts of radio communications by the South African forces during Namibia's border war. The source of the notebooks informed that a farmer's wife intercepted these communications and kept record of them, staring April 1982. The decision was made to keep them in Afrikaans as well as print them verbatim, to retain their full authenticity. They make for interesting reading and sketch at least the farmers point of view during what was a difficult time for our country
