Summary: The objective of this study is to describe the sediments at several sites in the Khommabes depression and to interpret the history of their deposition, pedogenesis and erosion. The total measured sequence contains only about 3m of sediment but includes one of the few known buried soils in the Namib Desert, as well as several distinct sedimentary units
