Namibia is currently also moving into the rancks of an olive growing country. A few months ago Heiser's olive oil was entered into an olive-tasting test in Italy where it was listed within the top 10 of the entire global production. Persons with a cholesterol problem can reduce it with olives. Production can be also increased by manufacturing soap, cosmetics and bread. Olive trees are also growing at Omaruru and Swakopmund
