Summary: Due to good rains did the Chobe River flood its banks extensively which resulted in a increase in a large number of waterbirds. Knob-billed Ducks and White-faced Whistling Ducks were present in large groups but only one Dabchick was recorded. Previously only large numbers of Pink-backed Pelicans were recorded but suprisingly this time only Great White Pelicans were present
