The publication covers the history of the Catholic Diocese of Keetmanshoop until 1915. The Roman Catholic border for the south stretched from south of Rehoboth down to Pella and Pofadder in northern Namaqualand. The Bishop has his seat at Keetmanshoop. Due to political changes was the southern border in time redefidut. Father, later Bishop Jean- Marie Simon began to make exploratory visits into the then German Colony. The first mission station was established in 1896 on the farm Heirachabis. This publication takes us up to the First World War in 1915
