Biography of missionary Carl Hugo Hahn. An indepth research was concentrated on his activities especially in Hereroland. Here we look at Hahn and his quarrel with the Wesleyan missionaries in Windhoek. Secondly a study was made on his mission work amongst the Herero and language studies. Research carries on with missionary Hahn at Gross Barmen, his journey to Ovamboland, founding of the Augustineum in Otjimbingwe and the organisation of tradsmen being send out to Otjimbingwe. Lastly, Hahn being instrumental in the coming of the Finnish Mission to Ovamboland and his departure in 1872 from the mission
