| Summary, etc. | The Kxoe belong to the Khoesan family and can be grouped into three dialectal and subtribal groups. They are spred over Caprivi, Botswana, Angola, South Africa and Zambia. The Kxoe distinguish between two main kinds of oral narratives, true stories and stories that are not true. Stories relate to hunting, plant stories and healing stories. Most of the fables are animal stories. All fables are associated with sketches relating to the contents of a story |
